Christian Bale Not Optimistic About Third Batman Film

After the mind-blowing success of last year’s The Dark Knight the Internet has been abuzz with casting and plot rumors for the next Batfilm. There is only one problem with this—director/writer Christopher Nolan has not committed or even talked about making a new Batflick.
To further dampen the hopes of fans salivating for another Nolan helmed Batman film Christian Bale stated several times, in a interview with MTV promoting his upcoming feature Public Enemies, that he was unsure if another Batman film will be made.
Unlike Nolan, Bale is contractually bound to appear in the next film.
