‘Wonder Woman’ Film Making Progress

IESB is reporting that the Warners Brothers and Silver Pictures adaptation of DC Comics’ Wonder Woman is “picking up steam” since Andrew Roma was hired to spearhead the project alongside Joel Silver.
“Sources in the Burbank studios have confirmed there is quite a bit of movement on the WW front,” IESB reports. ”With Green Lantern going into production this year, it looks like Princess Diana may finally get the go ahead from WB.”
Warner Bros. and Silver Pictures are very eager to get the project started and have been taking pitches the last few weeks from writers.
Personally I am still miffed as to why Warner Bros. took Joss Whedon off of the project a few years ago. Whedon is knowledgeable of the comic book medium and is also extremely good at writing for women in powerful roles. It seems that everything that Whedon lays his hands on is doomed. Hopefully Silver has the the right people surrounding him on this project and he does one-third of the DC Trinity justice.
