‘Angel’ Star Dies of Heart Failure

Andy Hallet, who starred as Krevlornswath of the Death wok Clan, or Lorne for short, on Angel died of heart failure Sunday night at the age of 33. Hallet passed away after a five-year battle with heart disease at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles, with his father by his side.
Hallet appeared in 76 episodes of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer spin-off from 2000-2004. He spent most of his post-Angel life singing and touring the country.
Sad times for Whedonites who see the passing of a second young cast member. Glenn Quinn, who played Doyle, passed away from a drug overdose in 2002.
