Hugh Jackman ‘Heartbroken’ Over ‘X-Men Origins: Wolverine’ Leak

Tom Rothman, Fox Film CEO, says he believes that the FBI and studio are close to finding out who leaked the work print copy of X-Men Origins: Wolverine earlier this week.
“I have a high level of confidence we’ll find out where the lapse in security was and we’ll bring the perpetrators to justice,” Rothman said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.
In the wake of of the Wolverine leak Fox’s post-production pipeline will be analyzed and maybe even changed.
“We, like everybody, though our system was secure,” Rothman said. ”Just like I’m sure there are lots of banks that get robbed that thought their valut was safe. We thought the post-production pipeline was secure at every juncture. But, obviously, it’s self-evident that it wasn’t.”
Rothman also gave users a reason they shouldn’t download the film if they haven’t already.
“Hugh was heartbroken and hurt when he found out,” Rothman said.”He’s lived with this thing for 10 years.”
