Robert Downey Talks ‘Iron Man 2’

Iron Man star Robert Downey Jr. recently spoke with Entertainment Tonight about the sequel to last summer’s blockbuster. Here is an expert from the interview:
“The film is almost entirely about character, and yet we still have twice as much action as we did last time, so it’s going to be nuts,” Downey tells Entertainment Tonight. “Essentially Iron Man 2 is about looking behind the armor, or the armature, of a superhero. It’s one thing to say you’re Iron Man, it’s another thing to be fully ready to do that.”
Downey went on to comment on how co-star Scarlett Johansson is shaping up for her role as the villainous Black Widow.
“We’ve been rehearsing and she’s in insane shape,” Downey said. “She’s getting lean and mean.”
Iron Man 2 starts filming next Monday and is set to blast into theaters May 7, 2010
